From Kim Kardashian To Kanye West: 8 Celebrities That Took Their Receipts And Showed The World
Celebrities mostly keep their beef in private, leaving the rest of us to guess what exactly has gone down. Sometimes both sides will be super vague and throw some passive aggressive shade but, again, we can never really work out what’s going on or who to believe.
But occasionally in a glorious flurry of anger, celebs release their receipts, shading the other party and laying the truth out there. It’s commonly now known as pulling a Kim Kardashian....
BUT FIRST CHECK OUT THE FAMOUS COUPLES WHO HAD MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA BEEF AFTER THEY SPLIT...
1. Kim Kardashian
In 2016, Taylor Swift announced she was upset with Kanye West after he named her in his song Famous with the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, yeah, I made that b*tch famous.”
The singer claimed she was shocked he had talked about her like that where Kanye claimed he had told her. Eventually Kim had enough of Taylor slating her husband and posted a video of Kanye telling Taylor about the song online.
2. Kanye West
After posting a rant about how he supports Donald Trump (ew), Kanye took to Twitter to seemingly blast his pal John Legend after John asked him to re-think spreading his views. Kanye posted the text messages complete with the accusation that John was trying to ‘manipulate my free thought’. Thankfully the pair remain mates but come on Yeezus. Shady receipts.
3. Blac Chyna
After Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner, his ex-gf and baby mama Chyna was clearly not happy about it. She posted on Insta some alleged text messages proving the rapper was playing them both at the same time. Yikes.
In 2005 Eminem and Mariah Carey were involved in beef after the rapper claimed he’s slept with the singer. She denied ever being involved with him and during a gig he allegedly whipped out some voicemails from Mimi.
The messages were supposedly from 2001, and apparently featured her saying, “I heard you were getting back with your ex-wife. Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?”. Appaz she was pisssssed.
Artist Marina Abramovic announced that she reprised her performance art piece The Artist Is Present for Jay-Z's 2013 music video for Picasso Baby under the agreement that he would donate money to build a performance art institute.
She then told Spike magazine than he had not come through on his end of the deal and she felt that the collab was a ‘one-way transaction'. The rapper quickly pulled an actual receipt of the money he had donated two years before and she was forced to apologise.
6. Chris Hughes
After meeting on Loose Women, Chris Hughes claimed Katie Price had messaged him being ‘flirty’ even though she knew he was dating now-ex girlfriend Olivia Attwood. When Katie denied this he posted the seemingly unanswered texts on Twitter. But she shot back that he had answered but refused to post the replies.

7. Brittany Cartwright
After finding out that her boyfriend Jax Taylor had cheated on her, fans of Vanderpump Rules saw Brittany hear he’d said he didn’t see himself marrying the reality star. After he denied it, co-stars Lala Kent and Ariana Maddix whipped out the receipts in the form of a voice recording that the girl, Faith, who he’d cheated with had recorded him saying. And it was all true. Ouch.
8. Rob Kardashian
During a very messy break up, for the millionth time, Rob Kardashian posted alleged messages from Chyna to other men. He also posted a picture of the alleged man Chyna had been cheating on him with in the bed that her and Rob shared.
