This unexpected (but very much welcomed) reality TV crossover romance started when Charlotte and Josh were first spotted having a bit of snog back in December, but things only got more serious until this year, with a tonne of adorable Instagram selfies and romantic holidays.

The two then made things PROPERLY official during The Charlotte Show, when Josh asked Charlotte to be his girlfriend in Palma.

If that’s not romance, we don’t know what is.

Megan and 'Muggy' Mike were first rumoured to be dating back in February, and have had a pretty turbulent on-off relationship since. However, despite their supposedly blazing rows and ‘explosive’ splits, the pair are currently looking more loved-up than ever, with Megan even admitting that Mike could be ‘the one’.

Sure, we weren’t necessarily expecting these two to get together, but they’re giving us all of the cute and we can’t help but enjoy it.

Perhaps one of the most unexpected romances of the year came from Caroline Flack and star of The Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother, Andrew Brady – but we have to admit, we’re totally living for it.

The pair were first rumoured to be dating in February after Andrew was evicted from Big Brother, and though they’ve faced a few stumbling blocks along the way, their romance is stronger than ever.

In fact, things are going so well that last month, the pair shared the seriously exciting news that they are engaged. YAS!

Selena Gomez And Justin Theroux (RUMOURED)

One of the newest (and again, surprise) alleged romances to come fresh from the rumour mill is Selena, who split from Justin Bieber this year, and Justin, who split from Jennifer Aniston in February.

Reports claim that the pair’s long friendship is now developing into something more, with a source alleging to Life & Style that “they’ve become closer than ever” and “are falling for each other.”

Emma Watson And Chord Overstreet

OKAY FINE, we’ll resist the urge to make a Harry Potter romance spell pun here. 

Emma and Chord first properly teased their cute romance back in March, when they were spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party together, with pair fully powering the rumour mill into motion around a week later when they stepped out holding hands in Los Angeles. 

They’ve seemingly kept themselves out of the public eye more recently, so we can only assume (and hope) that they’re just too busy being loved-up.

Brooklyn Beckham And Lexi Wood (RUMOURED)

Brooklyn hasn’t had the most straight-forward of years when it comes to romance, with the star first sadly splitting from Chloe Moretz, before being spotted kissing model Lexi Wood in a tattoo parlour in April.

The pair have kept things on the DL ever since, so we guess we’ll just have to keep a 24 hour watch on our Instagram feed for this one.

Lili Reinhart And Cole Sprouse

Yes, okay, so the rumours surrounding these Riverdale stars’ relationship were running free in 2017, with the pair seemingly teasing their romance with some seriously adorable Instagram snaps and Twitter exchanges.

However, it wasn’t until this year that the two confirmed their romance, sharing a cute kiss in Paris and arriving arm-in-arm together at the Met Gala.
