It’s no secret that Justin Bieber has been trying to repair his bad boy image this year, and has been doing pretty well so far.

But now, Justin’s taken a break from the shirtless selfies to sharethe news with his fans that he’s ‘developing his relationship with God’.

The Biebs posted the reflective message online, explaining to his followers that it has helped him realise he’s ‘not alone’ -but was also quick to stress that he didn’t want to sound like he was ‘pushing’ religion on anyone else.

He wrote: “Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked. - Psalms 43.

“I'm not religious nor do I think I have ANYTHING figured out that's why I call out on God to help me through what I can't do on my own.

"Developing my relationship with God has been the coolest thing I've experienced, to know that I'm not alone and I don't have to live in fear.

“Never feel like I'm pushing anything on u but sharing the good news I've felt in my own life. [sic]”

And while fans have been quick to congratulate Justin on his declaration, some are questioning why he said he wasn’t religious, since he’s spoken out about his faith in the past.

Back in 2010, he had revealed that he prayed ‘two to three times a day’ and was even baptized last summer.

Still, whatever Justin’s doing to help make him feel so positive, we hope he keeps at it, because nothing makes us happier than a cheerful Biebs!
