Khloe Kardashian has paid tribute to close friend Jamie Sangouthai, who died of a drug overdose yesterday (June 14).

The KUWTK star knew Jamie through her ex husband Lamar Odom, as he regularly appeared on their TV show Khloe and Lamar.

"Lamar is beside himself. This is the worst tragedy," a source told Us.

"This is so sad," another source added. "They were best friends, like brothers. Lamar is going to take this really hard."

Best friend Malika Huqq also offered her condolences, writing on Instagram:

Jamie and Lamar had been friends since High School, and hadworked together on various business deals as well as sharing a passion for basketball.
