Kristen Stewart’s Mum Denies Confirming That Her Daughter Is Dating Alicia Cargile
And now the journalist is threatening to release the interview audio…
Earlier this week, it appeared that Kristen Stewart’s mum finally confirmed the rumours that her daughter is dating her personal assistant Alicia Cargile, and was super supportive about the whole thing.
But now, Kristen’s mum Jules has flat out denied that she gave those quotes to the Sunday Mirror, and now things have gotten a little messy.
While everyone was surprised at Jules seemingly outing her daughter in the paper (as Kristen has never spoken publicly about her relationship with Alicia), it was lovely to see her supporting her daughter, with her apparently saying: “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy.
“She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices. I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”
However, Jules has now hit out about the piece to US Weekly and denied ever discussing Kristen with the Mirror journalist. Awks.
Jules told the magazine: “I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum. It's currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor.
“She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express. Never ever did we discuss Kristen!"
And while Jules admits that she did mention Alicia, saying, "I said, 'Yes, she's a lovely girl”, she’s adamant that her quotes have been fabricated.
Well, as if that wasn’t enough drama for the situation, the journalist that carried out the interview, Sharon Feinstein, has now tweeted that she’ll be releasing the audio of the conversation, and is not pleased that Jules has called her ‘integrity into question’.
Due to some technical issues, the tape has not yet surfaced, but hopefully all of this can be sorted soon, as we’re sure that notoriously private Kristen isn’t happy about all of this unwanted attention.
