Kristen Stewart Makes First Public Appearance Since Her Mum's Revealing Interview
The star was reunited with Twilight author, Stephanie Meyer at a film event in California...
Kristen Stewart has made her first public appearance since that interview with her mum that revealed a little too much about her relationship with new ‘girlfriend’ Alicia Cargile.
The actress was reunited at the Women in Film's 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards on Tuesday (June 16) with Stephanie Meyer – the author of the ‘Twilight’ book series, whose adaptations shot her to fame.
Alas K-Stew avoided all chat regarding the entire situation, instead focussing on the night and celebrating her fellow filmmaker's work.
Since being allegedly misquoted by the Sunday Mirror, Kristen’s mum, Jules, flat out denied that she said anything to the newspaper earlier this week, and now we’re a little confused about the whole thing.
Speaking to US Weekly, Jules told the magazine: “I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum. It's currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor.
“She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express. Never ever did we discuss Kristen!”
Despite journalist Sharon Feinstein saying she will publish the interview audio with Kristen's mum, there is still no sign of this online. Hopefully this will all be brushed under the carpet soon and Kristen can keep her private life, well, private!
