No More 'Sugar' For Adam Levine As He's Targeted By Pranksters Outside Jimmy Kimmel
Adam Levine may regret singing that song about ‘Sugar’ after being targeted by a prankster outside 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in Los Angeles yesterday (May 6).
The Maroon 5 frontman was making his way to the studio for an appearance on the talk show, when someone threw what appeared to be powdered sugar at Levine. Oh,the irony...
A show source later told The Hollywood Reporter that the prankster was arrested for their actions against 'The Voice USA' coach.
A rep for Kimmel stated: “Immediately after the incident occurred, Jimmy Kimmel Live security followed protocol and alerted LAPD, who responded quickly and are looking into the situation.”
It’s thought that the sugar-thrower is the same person who allegedly threw a rock at erm, The Rock AKA Dwayne Johnson last week.
Levine and Maroon 5 went on to perform on the TV show without any problems, with a spokesperson for the band declining to comment on the incident.
It seems maybe ‘Sugar’ isn't so sweet after all…
