One Direction Dedicate Billboard Music Award To Their Brother Zayn Malik
One Direction dedicated their Top Group accolade to ex-member Zayn Malik at last night’s 'Billboard Music Awards'.
Malik may have left the crazy world of 1D behind him, but he’s still firmly on the minds of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, who name checked him in their winners speech.
Horan kicked off proceedings, stating: “'This is absolutely incredible. It's an incredible honour to be here and to be in that category.
“It's unbelievable to come out as the winner, so we just want to say a big thank you to all of you who voted for it, we want to say a massive thank you to Billboard and again to our super, super fans.”
He added: “You've been absolutely amazing to us, we love you so much and we'll see you soon.”
Liam then stepped forward to remember Malik, telling the crowd: “There's one more person to share this with and that's our brother Zayn, so thank you very much.”
Awwww! 1D also went on to win Top Tour Artist at the bash, with the lads reassuring fans that they were “not breaking up” on the red carpet.
Harry’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift was the big winner on the night, taking home eight gongs, with the ‘Bad Blood’ star sharing her success (and a smooch!) with her new beau, Calvin Harris.
