One Direction Finally Address Zayn Malik's Exit On 'The Late Late Show'

Louis Tomlinson also reveals that himself and Malik are now on "good terms" following their Naughty Boy spat...

One Direction made their first TV appearance without Zayn Malik on 'The Late Late Show With James' Corden in LA yesterday (May 14).

And, while Malik may have chosen to leave the boyband behind him, he was still the hot topic of conversation for the boys, with Liam Payne revealing they felt “angry” when first learning that he wanted out.

Payne told Corden: “At first we were a little bit angry, we were surprised. I think we all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling. You could sort of tell.

“There’s certain parts of this job Zayn loved and there’s certain parts…we were angry at first and then it was just more disappointed.”

He added: “We wish him the best of luck with whatever he gets up to. There’s no hard feelings.”

Corden then asked whether after Zayn’s exit, they wanted to quit as a band, with Niall Horan insisting: “Not at all. The four of us love every part of it.

“The shows have been great and the fans deserve it. They’ve been absolutely fantastic to us.”

Louis Tomlinson was then probed on his very public Twitter spat with Zayn and his new BFF Naughty Boy, with the 23-year old stating: “There’s a bit back and forth. We’re on good terms with him. I’ve never been very good at biting my tongue.”

He went on to add that things between himself and Malik are now “all resolved”.
