When Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split suddenly back in June 2014, everybody wondered what could have gone wrong with the musical power couple.

But now, almost a year after their break up, Rita’s finally opened up about her and Calvin’s relationship – and revealed the reason why she believesit ended.

Covering the July issue of the US edition of Marie Claire, the new X Factor judge (a-woo!) got pretty candid about her Ralvin days, explaining to the magazine: “It was more of a thing where I was in awe.

“I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he'd never steer me wrong.

“But then I Will Never Let You Down came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what.”

The Calvin-produced and written single went straight to number one in March 2014, but the song caused some big drama after the couple’s messy break up, when Calvin blocked Rita from performing the hit at the Teen Choice Awards in America.

Not happy with Rita speaking out about Calvin’s decision, he responded via Twitter with a sass-filled post, saying: “You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life.”

Still, months later, Rita has clearly moved on from the bad blood between her and Calvin.

She added to Marie Claire: “There was a reason why I split up with him. And there was a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don't have to explain myself to anybody…”

Now, Rita is loved up with boyfriend Ricky Hil, who she's been withsince July of last year, and of course, Calvin has started dating mega-star Taylor Swift.
