Riverdale's Cole Sprouse Apologises For Makeup Shaming Girls

Riverdale's Cole Sprouse apologises for makeup shaming girls in an old interview. See what he had to say over at MTV.co.uk.

Whether you’ve been deeply in love with Cole Sprouse since the golden age of Suite Life, or whether you’ve only just discovered his glorious self as Jughead in Riverdale, we can all be in agreement that he’s a pretty good egg. Not to mention a gorgeous egg.

But this week Cole took to Twitter to apologise and drag his own younger self, all over a comment that he made in a magazine when he was younger.

Kinda like when you go through your old Facebook photos and reflect on what a ridiculous mess of a human being you used to be, Cole recently stumbled across a snippet from a magazine which saw him makeup shaming girls in his early Disney days.

Alongside a ridiculously angelic pic of his 13 year old, floppy haired self, Cole’s quote in the mag read: “I like a girl who is down-to-earth and doesn’t get worked up over anything…

“Not the kind of girl who is so worried about how she looks that he was to put on pounds of makeup.”

We’re sighing at you, 13 year old Cole Sprouse.

Luckily, older Cole Sprouse has clearly realised the error of his ways, and now seems to realise that specifying a ‘type of girl’ and judging those who like to wear makeup is a pretty gross thing to do. So yep, he dragged himself to 3.4 million Twitter followers, and it was all kinds of amazing.

Sharing the quote and laughing at his ‘#LittleDutchGirl’ face’, Cole wrote: “Do you ever stay up tormented by something you said a long time ago? Lol yeah me neither I was just asking #LookLikeALittleDutchGirl #Round”.

Whadda guy.

HOORAY. Now that that's all sorted, let's have a lovely chat with Sophie Kasaei about Charlotte Crosby's poo lasagne. Delightful.
