Scott Disick posted a heartbreaking birthday message to daughter Penelope on her third birthday amid reports he's split with partner Kourtney Kardashian.

The Lord took to Instagram yesterday (July 8) to publicly wish P a happy birthday after he missed the celebrations in LA, with The Mirror reporting he instead decided to stay with friends in Florida.

Sharing a series of super cute images of Penelope, the 32-year old wrote: "1 of the only things I'm proud off about myself. Happybdayp (sic)."

After apparently calling time on her romance with Scott, Kourtney treated her daughter to a trip to Disneyland on her birthday, with Disick opting to stay away from the family home.

Instead, sister Kim Kardashian and daughter North West were on hand to help Penelope celebrate.

Meanwhile, Kourtney's mother Kris Jenner has broken her silence since news of their break-up hit the net, with the 59-year old telling E! News: "Kourtney's hanging in there", before adding that sheis doing "good."

Both Scott and Kardashian are yet to comment on the fall out.
