Simon Cowell On 1D: 'They’re Doing Fine Without Zayn'

Music mogul also addresses Louis Walsh's public spat with Cheryl...

Simon Cowell has insistedthat there are no plans to replace Zayn Malik in One Direction.

During an interview on Good Morning Britain, the music mogul was asked by Richard Arnold if he would ever considered finding a stand in for Malik, to which he replied: “No I don’t think so, they’re doing fine.

“When it happened [there was] no warning - nothing - and they just they were still doing these huge tours and they dealt with it.”

SiCo was then quizzed about Louis Walsh’s future on the 'X Factor', with Cowell stating: “I’m not sitting there in the dark going ‘You know what, today I’ll fire Louis.’ It is what it is you know. But it does irritate me sometimes thinking, I’m not the only person making this decision.”

Speaking of Walsh’s recent feud with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon said: “There was always going to be a clash. They’ve never liked each other those two…

“[When Cheryl was in Girls Aloud] he was their manager. Now Louis managing a girlband, disaster, he just doesn’t do it well.”

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Chezza might be the only Girl Aloud (LOLZ) on the 'X Factor 'judging panel, with Nick Grimshaw expected to replace Louis.
