Alexander O'Neal has dramatically walked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The Channel 5 show's press office announced today (18 Jan) that the veteran soul star had chosen to leave the set in Elstree.

His unexpected move follows a reprimand from Big Brother for using a homophobic term in an argument with Perez Hilton.

O'Neal is the third housemate to leave via the back door - with Jeremy Jackson and Ken Morley both being removed for bad behaviour.

Chloe Goodman was the first HM to get the boot via a public vote on Friday.
