David Bowie's ex-wife Angie has decided to stay in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house after hearing the news of her ex-husband's death earlier today.

A spokesperson from Channel 5 has said that Angie was informed of the news by her representatives off-camera following the music icon's death.

Channel 5 added: "The decision to remain in the house is entirely her choice, and she has been given the option to leave at any time if she changes her mind. Appropriate support will be available to Angie at any time if needed."

The pair married in 1970 with Angie appearing in the 1973 Ziggy Stardust film. They had one child, Duncan Jones, who Angie admits to not having seen in around five years.
