There’s never a dull moment in the 2016 Celebrity Big Brother house, is there?

Having already won the award for Most Dramatic Performance for her roles in ‘I’m Pregnant’ and ‘I’m Leaving Via The Fire Exit’, Gemma Collins found herself facing another dramatic moment when she tried to help with dinner preparations.

The Only Way Is Essex star was trying to lift spirits and give housematesa ‘better day’ in the seriously tense house by peeling the potatoes for dinner.

However, Gem ended up accidentally cutting her finger on the huge knife in the process of just trying to be helpful.

Her fellow housemates quickly came to her aid and wrapped her hand in a tea towel, with Gem saying: “Am I going to die? It’s fine, don’t worry, I’m going to carry on […] It’s through to the bone!

"As soon as I’ve got a plaster on I’ll be back, don’t worry, but it’s through to the bone! I genuinely was trying to be helpful.”

Christopher Maloney took her to the diary room where she was seen by a medic, before being taken to hospital to get stitches for the cut. She later returned to the house.

Earlier in the day, Gemma was gifted with a professional blow dry (which she may have mentioned she was desperate for once or twice since being in the house), promptly giving thehairdresser tips on how to do his job.

There was a consequence for her immunity prize though, asthe other housemates had to go without hot water and appliances for the day.

Returning to the house after the blow dry,Gemma toldDanniella Westbrook, Darren Day and Christopher: “My hair is clean, it makes you feel like a brand new person.

“You can only try your best in life and that’s going to be my new attitude for the tasks. I’m just going to try my best.”

HURRAH. Go on, Gem!
