Celebrity Big Brother 2017: This Is How Much The Housemates Are Worth IRL
Turns out reality TV pays hella well...
The housemates of this year's Celebrity Big Brother will be getting paid a pretty penny to live in the Boremwood bungalow for, what could be, four weeks.
We've already seen Trisha admit she doesn't need the money, but then also ask Big Brother for the money for two days work, so what are the famous faces estimated to actually be worth?
Chad Johnson - £613,000
Chad hasn’t done quite as much as the other celebs in the house but has mnaged to make up quite the sum of money from his history in luxury real estate and his appearances of reality TV shows like The Bachelorette, Bachelor In Paradise, Famously Single and now CBB.
Helen Lederer - £750,000
Helen earned her wealth appearing in some of the biggest shows on TV including Absolutely Fabulous and Hollyoaks. These days she is a stand-up comedienne and does a ton of charity work.
Amelia Lily - £800k
After placing third in the X Factor in 2011, Amelia signed at £500k music deal with Sony and released her first album in 2013 with the massive hit You Bring Me Joy. She also supported Girls Aloud on tour before taking the lead role in the West End show American Idiot.
Sam Thompson - £850,000
After joining Made In Chelsea in 2013, Sam has clearly made the most of social media posting and personal appearances racking up a massive £850k. Obvs he’s from MIC so he’s got to have been a little bit rich before and he lives with his sister Louise, we assume rent free, so he’s kind of got it made.
Paul Danan - £1.2million
Paul hit our screens when he played Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks from 1997 to 2001. He then appeared on countless TV shows like Celebrity Love island and made quite the cash dollar for PAs, pantos and parties.
Brandi Glanville - $2million (£1.5million)
When Brandi was on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills her fee per season started at $175k and was bumped up to $500k as her popularity rose. She also has two New York Times bestselling books, her own podcast and a line of wine called Unfiltered Blonde making her a cool couple of mil.
Derek Acorah - £2.3million
Medium Derek made a household name for himself in the Sky Living series Most Haunted from 2002 to 2010 before he was accused of being a fake and fired. He also had his own show Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns in 2005 and still charges for his services of personal readings.
Shaun Williamson - £2.4million
Barry Barry Barry! Not surprisingly Shaun has made the majority of his cash from his ten years stint on soap EastEnders playing Barry Evans. He has since appeared on Celebrity Mastermind, The Chase and Celebrity Pointless.
Trisha Paytas - $4million (£3million)
With over 2.9million followers on YouTube, a bunch of Trisha’s wealth has come from the online platform. She’s also acted in Modern Family, the 2012 film Wanderlust, released her own perfume called ‘Trish’ and has openly talked about the money she made from escorting. Most famously she made $50,000 for spending one night with an NBA player.
Sarah Harding - £7million
When Sarah was in Girls Aloud they were thought to have made £30million by 2010 with their music and range of a eyelashes. She went on to dabble in acting in Coronation Street and the movie St Trinian’s and also opened a bar in London, Kanaloa, with her ex-fiancé Tom Crane.
