Channel 5 have dropped some major hints about the upcoming 2018 series
Now that we’re officially in the thick of Summer, speculation about what will be happening on Celebrity Big Brother 2018 has reached fever pitch.
The good news is that some information about what Channel 5 have up their sleeves for the upcoming series has been released; and it sounds like we should all strap ourselves in for what's bound to be an absolutely wild ride.
The show, which celebrated its eighteenth birthday on Wednesday, will be hitting screens in August - with its “Eye Of The Storm” theme promising chaos, confusion, and a whole heap of controversy.
True to form, all the celebrities entering the show will have once found themselves “caught up” in the media spotlight, with an official statement claiming that each contestant will have “a lot to prove” to the public.
Rumours about who will actually be taking part in the series are all unconfirmed, although some people are expecting ex Strictly Come Dancing dancer Brendan Cole and Katie Price’s estranged husband Kieran Hayler to make an appearance.
The series will fronted by Emma Willis, with Rylan Clark-Neal once again returning to Big Brother’s Bit On The Side. Emma confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: “A storm is a’brewing… #CBB is back!! See u in August @channel5_tv.”
For his part, Rylan hinted that we should all find a space space to bunker down in while watching the drama from afar: “CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER IS BACK! Summer is about to have a storm like never before.”
Crikey. That's fair warning.
