Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis have finally explained what the actual heck has been going on with them and all of that split hoo-ha.

Last weekend, rumours started flying that the two Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds had split up, with Jez seemingly tweeting and deleting a message about being ‘the biggest mug’, and Steph sharing a photo of her new blonde hair.

Things were made all the more confusing when the couple then cancelled a joint appearance on Loose Women and Jeremy released a statement saying it was all over via his management, all before Steph latertweeted: “Me and jez are still very much together. We're working around schedules to be with eachoteher. I'm madly in love with him. Thanks for All of the support though. Means a lot” (sic).

Still with us? Okay good.

The star-crossed lovers have now finally made that appearance on Loose Women to explain what actually happened that weekend, with former Hollyoaks actress Steph revealing that it all spiralled from a misinterpreted text.

She said: “I said basically, 'I can't do this anymore', but meaningus being apart, so busy, and then all the press that's been released about people coming forward trying to sell stories that aren't true.It was all getting on top of me.

"We're tired, we've not stopped. I said 'I can't do this', but obviously because we'd both been out, he took it like I ended it with him.But I didn't mean that. I was having a Bridget Jones moment and he was angry because he thought I ended it."

So there you go. It was all just a big ol' misunderstanding.
