Chamillionaire has spoke to MTV Base News about working with Slick Rick on his new single Hip Hop Police.

The Ridin Dirty rapper has teamed up with the old-school MC and told us:

Slick Rick was real cool man because hes had long term success compared to a lot of new artists. He was really humble- (for the video) we were like we want you to put on this police mans uniform, hes like yeah no problem kid!

Houston boy Chamillionaire continued praising highly respected Rick- who grew up in West London but achieved massive success Stateside:

Slick has been always one the artist thats kinda like creative with his music. Working with him is a good collaboration between the new school and the old school you know.

Of the song the 28 year old said: I was thinking who can I get on this record thats not on everybodys record? and Slick Rick came to mind. I didnt think that I was going to be able to get him but we didnt even try and make a single, we just wanted to make a hot song.
