How do I upload a photo?

Upload a photo in six simple steps...
1. Log into your profile.
2. Select "upload photo", then hit the 'browse' button this will allow you to select a suitable picture (in jpg or gif form) from your computer.
3. Give your image a title and a description.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions of upload.
5. Submit your photo.
6. Wait - please be patient at this point cos our team of highly skilled apes (aka the MTV Flux moderators) will approve or reject your photo depending on whether it complies with our terms and conditions.

How do I delete a photo?

Delete a photo from your profile gallery in three simple steps...
1. Log into your profile and go to your profile image gallery.
2. Select "delete photo" link underneath the image you wish to remove.
3. Confirm your action by pressing on the "delete" button.

How do I upload video?

Upload video, in six easy stages...
1. Log into your profile.
2. Select "upload videos" on your profile page.
3. Click the ‘Browse’ button and select the video
4. Give your video a title, description and some tags to categorise it.
5. Please ensure your video complies with our video submission guidelines.
6. Click Upload

How do I delete a blog post?

Delete a photo from your profile gallery in three simple steps...
1. On your profile page click the [edit] button below the blog post you wish to remove.
2. At the bottom of this page you will find a "delete" button that you can click.
3. Confirm your action by pressing on the "delete" button.

How do I report a user?

If someone has been abusive toward you, you can easily report them:
1. Go to the offending user's profile.
2. Select the 'report user' link on the left hand side.
3. Leave details of the problem.

You can also email the MTV Flux team through the 'contact' link at the bottom of the webpage.

One thing - if you misuse the report feature you might be the one with rapped knuckles!

How do I report inappropriate content?

If you've found something inappropriate, offensive or stolen on a user's profile, blog or photo gallery:
1. Click on the 'report user' button at the left of a users profile.
2. Leave details about the offending content including where you found it and any relevant URLs so we can investigate.

Again, use your discretion; any misuse of the report feature may result in a slapped wrist.

How can I contact the administrator?

At the bottom of each page you'll find a 'contact' button, if you're logged in we'll receive your details automatically, so all you have to do is:
1. Select 'contact'.
2. Write your message.
3. Submit it to the Flux team.

How do I make an avatar?

We'll pick avatars to feature in original animation on the site and on TV. So if you want to create a screen god or goddess, follow these simple steps...
1. Log into your profile.
2. Select "create avatar".
3. Choose whether you want to create a boy or a girl.
4. Give them their looks.
5. Give them some style.
6. Change them whenever you get bored.

I'm not receiving emails from MTV Flux – why?

Check your junk folder. If you can't find it there, use the contact link at the bottom of this page and tell us what email you're missing.

How do I add a friend to my friends list?

To connect with others:
1. Browse 'people'.
2. Go to the profile of the person you want to pick.
3. Select the "add this person" button on the left hand side of their profile.

How can I private message someone?

To message others:
1. Browse 'people'.
2. Go to the profile of the person you want to pick.
3. Select the "mail this person" button on the left hand side of their profile.
4. Write your message.
5. Submit to send.

How do I change my password?

To message others:
1. Go to your profile.
2. Click the "edit personal details" button.
3. Scroll down the page to the "password" fields and enter your new password in both fields.
4. Click "submit" at the bottom of the page.
