    i rate Empire way above Battle. i just got bored with Battle really quickly. i can't even remember what was on it cos it's disappeared from my collection.

        i can't imagine them needing to rail against someone who's essentially a clown. SOAD filled in with the right kind of bonkersness in the end. 'sall good.

        plus, Battle Of LA was a bit shit.

          They were right on and political throughout Clinton's comparitively liberal reign, then around the time a stupid Right-wing idiot gets control and fucks up everything, they piss off to make, like, three good songs and Zach pisses and does nothing. Disappointing.

                1) whats you best festival memory ever ? RHCP's at V festival 2001. I nearly wept with joy.

                2) what band are you most looking forward to seeing at a festy this year ? Dunno who's playing glasto yet, but am sure British Sea Power will be AMAZING.

                3) which festy has the best line-up in your opinion this year ? I have no idea who's playing any of them, but Rage at carling festival is pretty fucking good.

                4) who would play your ultimate festival (dead or alive) ? PEAAAAAARL JAM. Headlining every night for four nights doing sets in chronological order, making their way through all the best albums.

                  Shouldn't he also be asking which band are the biggest festival whores? The Killers, Kings of Leon & The Kaiser Chiefs would turn up to anything as long it was held in the middle of a field

                    Beck at V '97, Flaming Lips at Coachella '04, Arcade Fire at Reading '05

                    Dunno.

                    Probably whatever ATP is doing. That uncommercial one with Neil Young looks good.
