We all like films, don't we?

The Cottage 6/10

Some funny moments, could have been better. Not bad for a low budget Brit Flick

It was very well done. It made me think of Samurai and their relationships with their masters.

Thick, like a forest. A forest in a bog.

The critics were probably too mesmerised by Colin Farrell's luscious eyebrows to think straight

*mentions how the media haven't drawn any comparisons to the equally if not more impressive I Went Down*

I cried during that scene, I thought it was so well done, the song was beautiful. My other favourite scene was when Brendan Gleeson & Colin Farrell's characters were zonked on cocaine, the expressions on their faces were brilliant. I actually have to say I'd love to see it a second time but I'm going to wait for the DVD.

My friend & I also decided we liked the look of Bruges so we're going to go & have a look see one of the days

It's a fairly good film of it's own accord, I think. I like the scene with the older hitman in the tower. And some of the one-liners are classic.

e.g. "No, you're an inanimate fucking object!"

Go & see In Bruges, if for nothing else to see Colin Farrell's comedy eyebrows & Rafe Fiennes mockney accent

RE: Film Review Thread  —  Thu, 08/05/2008 - 09:13

gremmie, dude.
