Is the use of outdated "sexist" language - ie. "bird" - comparable to the use of racist language?  —  Mon, 17/09/2007 - 22:54

I think so. I'd like to see any use of "b**d" prohibited on these boards, and I'm seriously considering whether calling a grown woman a "girl" is offensive or not. I'll be writing to tell Television my findings next week, and hopefully we can get every British sitcom ever censored.

I can't agree to that third term either. My personality has thrived out here in real life Hippo (do you remember real life?), I guess some of y'alls just aren't as fun as my friends. Anyway, think of some more realistic terms and maybe we'll get somewhere.
