Sound of the summer or wannabee chav, Let the debate begin

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 15:44

I'm in the middle reallly, I think here tunes are catchy but not enough to buy her album, I think it's an interesting look the Ball gown and nike trainers but nothing amazing, She slags off people for no reason yet I find her strangly attractive,

And the streets are a million times better than her,

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 11:38

Q: can you see why people would liken you to the streets?
Lily Alan: [something i cant remember], were both middle class.. although he wont admit it,

article then goes on to talk about her acting like a twat and getting thrown out of school, starting music after her old music teacher told her to try singing, wrote smile in rehab etc etc,

you judge what you think.

Hmmm...lemme check. It's on the sheet somewhere. PR writers always leave an e-mail. It's so tempting to write back...

Here we go!

Murray Chalmers
Parlophone Press

Ooooooh, phone number AND his e-mail? My lucky day!

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 10:18

out of curiosity, who does her PR?

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 10:17

I vote for irritating bint. Oh, and rhyming 'tesco' with 'al fresco' is just unforgiveable.

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 10:16

Her PR release for her last single (On another note: PR people can't spell) mentions nothing about Keith Allen while talking about how she's had a tough upbringing. Then contradicts the entire piece by saying how she's designed Nike trainers in the past. Hardly tough...

Bollocks. Absolutely manufactured. Her website biography is the same. It cuts out all the stuff that would see her as a rich/celeb kid and makes her out to be 'down with the kids'. Oh and rhyming "alfresco" with "Tesco", isn't as witty as the PR release thinks it is. They write it like it's the second coming on this sheet. Idiots.

not a fan at all !!!

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 08:53

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 08:49

she needs to learn some humility and her music annoys me.

RE: Lily Alan  —  Tue, 26/09/2006 - 08:46

Absolute shite. Someone should do something irreparable to her vocal chords.
