    After due consideration ... I would say that Zane brought 500,000 Radio 1ers with him who are happy with background music when people are talking because they don't really listen. Added to that the influx of adverts and these are the people who MTV2 want to attract. These people make good advert fodder because they are attuned to the commercial flow. MTV2 used to survive without all the adverts. Thats why I watched it. Now it depresses me every 15 minutes with cancer adverts and debt adverts. Thus this is how the world has changed.

          I would just rather see bands sat around talking than any sort of set routine. Then Zane talking about it with his friend. That is all I require. He is Radio One now. He thinks he has to fill it with jingles.

            I liked it when it was Slim Jim for two hours every night. Its still good with Chofy. (Don't know how to spell it.) its still a good relationship. I just complain about the background music. Not keen on Bobo. The guests aren't as relaxed as they used to be because they are rushed through more. Plus there are a lot more adverts now. Brand New was more like a magazine programme. Gonzo is warmer.

                    I like it, it's better now it's spilt into'Gonzo' and 'Gonzo Loves' What do you think to 'Bobo reviews'? Did you ever watch it when it went on for, like, three hours. That was a trip. Did you ever watch 'Brand:New'? that was excellent -condensed, funny, informative..

                    I think the two shows are comparable to people 'Brand: New' would have been the confident older brother, well turned out, a fountain of knowledge, thought of highly and with fondness. Gonz would be the impressionable, slutty younger sister, who doesn't give a shit and would be up for anything at every available opportunity.
