MTV Base proudly presents DJ Takeover - a specialist strand celebrating the multitude of genres within the urban music spectrum.
A selection of the UK’s top radio DJs from Radio 1, 1 Xtra, Kiss, Choice and Galaxy FM were invited to take over the channel and schedule nights dedicated to grime, reggae, hip-hop, neo-soul and dancehall, putting the spotlight on artists such as Skepta, Bob Marley, Common, Jill Scott and Cham.
