George Kay started at BBC Radio London where he helped pioneer the first ever Rap/Hip Hop and Mix shows in the UK, helping to break acts like Public Enemy, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Roxanne Shante, KRS1, Biz Markie and many more. No one know more when it comes to urban music, including Hip Hop, R&B and Soul.
In the early 90’s, George was responsible for flying in Boys II Men and Jodeci, two acts, who to date remain the largest US R&B bands who have performed in this country. George was also the first to introduce favourites such as Hi Five, POV, Jade, Brownstone, The Good Girls and Lo-key.
As well as presenting the Morning show on Choice, George has put together various compilation albums, released a mix album and has also re-mixed tracks for US artists R. Kelly, Heavy D, Ginuwine, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Lakiesha Berry and UK R&B act Benz.
