Britney Spears was drugged by her manager Sam Lufti, claims her mother.

Lyne Spears told reporters he tried to control every aspect of the singer’s life: “(He) drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her.”

Lufti allegedly crushed up pills and put them into the Piece Of Me star’s food and also controlled the paparazzi who followed her.

Britney’s mum said he: “essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.
Lyne and Jamie Spears now have a restraining order out against Sam Lufti to keep her away from their daughter.

Britney remains in a hospital being treated for her mental problems and will stay until at least February 14.
