The Inc.'s lead female Ashanti will not be joining rival G-Unit despite rumours in The New York Daily News, Rush & Malloy column suggesting 50 Cent wanted to sign her.
Ashanti's camp have insisted that “this is not true”- this has also been confirmed by Universal records.
Reports had suggested that Ashanti was unhappy about Irv Gotti not coming to her defence when rumours started spreading about the two having a sexual relationship.
It now looks like Ashanti, who at one time was verbally attacked by 50 Cent, will be staying put.
In related 50 Cent news, 50's G-Unit clothing line will not be closing down for good as various reports had suggested however there may be staff cuts in the near future.
