Mariah Carey has admitted she is now a happily married woman in an US magazine interview.
In People Magazine the diva revealed her and Nick Cannon got wed on April 30 in the Bahamas.
Mariah said: “We really do feel we are soul mates - I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”

She had only been dating the star of MTV’s Wild N Out- who is 11 years younger than her- for a few months.
Reports say Cannon proposed to Carey just five days before they tied the knot.
Though the Touch My Body singer has apparently had a ‘Mrs Cannon’ tattoo on her back for some time.

First and Foremost congrats to the newlyweds. Genaroman your are entitled to your opinion but for all we know they could be together far longer then alot of celeb couples who carry on relationships for years before they marry. I only knew my husband about 8 weeks before i agreed to marry him and he was ready after about 3 weeks lol. Here we are almost 4 years later, still together and still happily married. Yes we know Nick as this silly childish persona but newsflash celebs are ppl and what we see on tv is normally only one side of them. I do think it was a quick decision and a big one to make one such short notice but they are adults and did what felt right for them. I wish them the best and hope they can stay strong esp because the media is gonna eat this up.

I think Mariah and Nick are NOT ready for marriage. I give them three months max. You can't just date someone for six weeks and decide that you want to spend the rest of your life together. It's a life changing experience and you need alot more time than six weeks! You have to INVEST in a relationship and spend the time with somebody to HARVEST the love that you grew together. And it doesn't take six weeks.
So he got to "hit" it. If you know what I mean. That doesn't mean the're ready to get married. To bad for Mariah. I liked her when she had mystery and innocence. Her first two albums we're my favorite. Now, she's a little too ghetto for my taste and I don't listen to her much. Her new guy looks like a kid. I think Mariah could've done better and she should raise her standards a bit. Their marriage won't last. Don't mean to be hating but that's my pov. That's all I got to say. Peace.
