Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse look set to duet on a new single.

The pair have both had drug troubles and recent battles with the law- but will now be matched musically too.

Babyshambles man Pete- who was released from prison last week- apparently told reporters: “I have always wanted to do a single with Amy. She is just so talented.”

Wino has been spotted recently hanging out with Doherty’s bandmate Mick Whitnall and Pete revealed they’ve been writing new songs.

He said: “Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison.”

Pete added that he hoped music would keep him busy and away from past problems: “We’ve been told we will be doing a third album that will keep me busy and hopefully out of trouble.”
