Whitney Thompson wants women to feel good about themselves
The judges of America's Next Top Model chose Whitney Thompson as the winner of the latest season.

The decision surprised many, as Whitney is the first plus sized girl who made it to the final three - let alone won the fierce competition.
"There's definitely times I've looked in the mirror and looked at other girls and thought, I wasn't like them," said the the 20-year-old from Florida.
"I want other women in America to feel good about themselves…It's amazing to be America's Next Top Model. This is exactly what I want. This is what I've always wanted!"
Winning America's Next Top Model means Whitney will be on the cover of Seventeen magazine and gets a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics represented by Elite Model Management.
Both runner ups Anya Kop and Fatima Siad were given encouragement from judges Tyra Banks and Paulina Porizkova - but they revealed it was Whitney's personality and her classic look that made her the winner!

FINALLY....THE BEST LOOKING WAS FINALLY PICKED!! HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE NO MORE BEAN POLE WOMEN PLEASE!!! WHITNEY WAS DEFINITELY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED. FATIMA WAS A STICK!! WHITNEY ROCKED THAT RUNWAY!! GO GIRL!! YOU KNOW, SO MANY PEOPLE "FEEL" UGLY BECAUSE OF ALL THESE TINY MODELS THAT AMERICA USES, BUT AS IT HAS BEEN PROVEN, AMERICA HAS BECOME "BIGGER" PEOPLE. SO QUIT USING THESE BEAN POLE LADIES AND GET REAL!!! WHITNEY IS A PERFECT MODEL BEING AS SHE IS FULL FIGURED AND WILL ACTUALLY BE MORE ENCOURAGING TO THE GIRLS TODAY. WHEN THEY HAVE BETTER SELF-ESTEEM, THEY WILL DO MORE TO IMPROVED THEMSELVES. WHITNEY IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL THAN THOSE LIKE FATIMA AND ANYA. I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE WHITNEY WIN!!

I just wanted to say... Duuuuval... way to represent Florida and all of us curvy women, Not only was I cheering for Whitney the whole ride because she is from Jacksonville, i thought she was a very beautiful and charming young lady. She represents the average young and older women.. She also has my daughter's name.... Yeaaaaa Whitney! You go girl!!! Good Luck to all the contestants, they did a great job. It takes extreme courage to try and follow your dream in such a cruel and cut thoat business.. My hats off to all of the beautiful young women... But WHITNEY IS THE BOMB....

Hooray for Whitney! Finally, a plus-size..pardon me...full figured girl won. I always root for the full figured contestants, as a full figured person myself. I think they are the 'every-woman', not these little stick figures like Fatima that seem to win every year. I applaud Tyra and the rest if the judges for their honesty and fairness in seeing that Whitney was the best. And, boy, did she rock that runway!!!
Paulina, on the other hand, needs to go. Do not like her at all!!!!!
This one was boring, I watch the re-run to get photos idea for my husband, he likes to shoot models, however the money for now is my wedding web site. Since watching the show I feel that Tyra is a down to earth person. All the girl reading the Tyra Mail worked my last !!!!. I'm happy that Whitney won, however as a plus model I think Torrca was better, but what do I know. When kazmere is shooting wanted be or what ever you want to call them, I hear myself copying what Mr. J say to his models. I'm looking forward to next season, and I'll keep waiting the re-run. But I don't think I can take waiting this season re-run. It did nothing for me.
