Are the trio about to appear as flatmates struggling to make it big in Hollywood?

Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are reportedly in talks to star in a sitcom together.

US TV network HBO, who brought us the likes of Flight of the Conchords, Little Britain USA and Sex and the City, are keen to sign up the one-time close friends to appear as flatmates struggling to make it big in Hollywood.

A source revealed to The Daily Star newspaper: "The chemistry between them will be electric.

They were very close and have had their ups and downs in the Los Angeles party world but they have overcome those problems now.

They can draw from their experiences for the sitcom."

The show has been described as a cross between Friends and Ugly Betty.

Ricky Gervais has been reportedly asked to write the script, which will see the trio playing characters inspired by themselves.

A source stated that Paris Hilton would play a fashion designer, Britney’s character an aspiring singer and Lohan would be ‘a little like a female Joey from Friends - obsessed with men and food.’
