Channing Tatum Gets Serious in Foxcatcher Teaser

Intense trailer for sports drama sees movie hunk headbutting mirror...

Movie hunk Channing Tatum is seen flexing his serious acting muscles in a teaser trailer for forthcoming drama Foxcatcher.

The 34-year-old Hollywood star is best known for his light-hearted roles in Magic Mike and 22 Jump Street, but he is reported to be the subject of Oscars buzz for his role alongside Steve Carrell in the real-life drama.

Tatum plays Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz, with Mark Ruffalo as his older brother Dave Schultz (also an Olympic champ) and Carrell as the man who murders Ruffalo's character.

The intense one-minute teaser sees Tatum's character psyching himself up for the Olympics - culminating in a scene that sees him punching himself in the face and headbutting a mirror.

Foxcatcher is directed by Bennett Miller, the filmmaker behind Moneyball and Capote.
