Former Geordie Shore lass Chantelle Connellyhad a terrifying experience with a spider bite that left her face swollen and bruised over the weekend.

The 28-year-old reality star was taken to hospital for treatment after the spider bit her in bed while she was at her Newcastle home.

The Geordie revealed she had spent the day in a hospital on a drip following the ordeal.

The lass had been sleeping in her bed but woke up feeling something on her face and soon realised it was a spider.

An hour later, Chantelle couldn't see out of her left eye what-so-ever and after getting in touch with a doctor she was sent toahospital.

Since the incident, Chantelle has kept pretty quietabout her recovery, but it is believed sheis able to see again from her left eye.
