Chantelle Houghtonis reported to have had her romantic overtures snubbed byBluestar Lee Ryan.
The former Celebrity Big Brother winner - who [uuid=65e6b747-7cd9-42c6-9f5b-d8e5805b4ebf]split from Alex Reid last year[/uuid] - is claimed by Now magazine to have been flirting heavily with Lee at a Health Lottery event toward the end of last month.
But the mag's source reckons that the singer just wasn't interested.
"They were at an event together and she was flirting up a storm," the source said. "She made it pretty clear that she fancied Lee."
And a pal of Ryan's is claimed to have added: "It was clear she was pulling all the stops to get him interested, but he wasn't biting."
Chantelle added fuel to the flames by tweeting him the message: "tweet me yeahhh"
But Chantelle explained that away in her recent New magazine column, claiming she had been asked by an admirer for her number.
"I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I told him to tweet me.
"Then I was chatting [to] Lee and [he] asked me if I was going out later. When I said I probably was he said, 'Tweet me, yeah', which made me laugh and I told him the story.
"The next day I tweeted him exactly that as a joke, but it was just banter".
A spokesperson for Chantelle is reported to have declared that she wouldn't want to date Lee, even if he was interested.
