As our Brand New For 2015 campaign comes to an end,last night (January 28)Charli XCX, James Bay and Sinead Harnett took over Islington's Assembly Hallfor the first of twospectacularevents showcasing the best ofbrand new British musical talent.

The sexy, soulful Sinead Harnett was first up to rouse the crowd with the cool vibes of songs includingher Snakehips collab No Other Way,She Ain't Me and her Rudimental track Hidewhich segway-ed into asmooth cover of Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River.

Next up, James Bay, complete with trademark hat and the best hair in the business,got us VERY excited about his forthcoming debut album dropping ablend of tracks includingLet It Go, Scars, If You Ever Want To Be In Loveand his recent singleHold Back The River.

But our headliner and former Brand New nominee Charli XCX, looking ace in a white, sleevelessshirt, a mini skirt combo belted at the waist and completed with a pair of white gloves MJ would have been proud of, took the stage for a storming, no nonsense set including XCX favesSuperlove, Break The Rules, forthcoming single Doing It and endingon the sing-a-long favouriteBoom Clap.
