Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa Take Psy's Most Viewed YouTube Video Crown
'See You Again' has just surpassed 'Gangnam Style''s YouTube viewcount...
Yes - it's really true! The 'Attention' star and the 'Black and Yellow' hitmaker now share the honour of being the video streaming platform's very own kings and we couldn't be happier that the two of them have managed to achieve this incredible feat.
Wiz and Charlie's Furious 7 collaboration has now amassed 2.9 billion views making it YouTube's most popular video ever.
2.9 BILLION VIEWS?!!!
This also means that, after four years on top, Psy's 'Gangnam Style' no longer lays claim to the YouTube crown.
The 2012 global hit now has to settle for second place on the viewing chart, whilst Justin Bieber's 'Sorry', Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' 'Uptown Funk' and Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito' sit at third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
However, as 'Gangnam Style' still has 2.8 billion views, we're not sure that Psy is losing too much sleep over this.
Wiz and Charlie are celebrating though - as they should!
Both 'See You Again' performers took to Twitter to share the good news. Wiz simply tweeted a Forbes article containing the exciting information whilst Charlie took the opportunity to get a little sentimental over the humongous milestone.
From dreaming of "10,000" views to getting 2.9 billion views we can only imagine how happy Charlie is.
We are too. Congratulations boys!
