Charlie Puth Opens Up About Being ‘Horrendously Unpopular’ At School
Charlie Puth has spoken about his experience of school life, revealing that, contrary to what we’d guess, he was ‘horrendously unpopular’.
Well, they didn’t know what they were missing, Charlie.
The singer was speaking on Lorraine, explaining that he shot the video for ‘Marvin Gaye’ with Meghan Trainor at a school prom because he ‘didn’t get to go to [his] own prom’.
He added: “I was horrendously unpopular at school, did I mention that yet?”
Asked if he would be friends with those who weren’t nice to him at school now, Charlie admitted: “I'm not going to be best pals with them, but I’d still be cordial with them."
Charlie told Lorraine: “I think it's a good idea to take a break from the spotlight for a little bit.
“For me today, I'm not even going to look at social media. You forget, ten years ago, we didn't look that stuff all the time. You start to realise how observant you are, you take notice of things, your sense of smell is heightened.”
