Charlie Sheen 'To Reprise Ferris Bueller's Day Off Role For TV Sitcom'
Actor to make guest appearance in The Goldbergs' homage to movie classic...
Charlie Sheen is reportedly set to reprise his cameo in iconic 1980s movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
The wayward star played a delinquent who kisses Bueller's uptight sister - played by Jennifer Grey - as she waits in a police station in the 1986 film.
And he's apparently set to play the same part in popular 1980s-set US comedy The Goldbergs, which is basing an episode around the much-loved movie.
It will see Barry Goldberg (played by Troy Gentile) inspired by Ferris' antics to fake being sick and plan his ultimate fantasy day out.
However his relatives find out about his ruse and attempt to foil him.
Sheen is wrapping up his sitcom Anger Management this Christmas and is also rumoured to be returning for the finale of Two And A Half Men next year.
In other Ferris Bueller news - the movie was yesterday revealed to have been added to the National Film Registry at the Library Of Congress in the US.
Cult classic The Big Lebowski was also listed, along with Saving Private Ryan, Rosemary's Baby, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory and Little Big Man.
