Charlotte Churchis swapping Cardiff for New York in a bid to crack the US market.

According to reports, the Welsh singer has already told ex-fiancé Gavin Henson she is moving to the States and taking their two children, Ruby and Dexter, with her.

"Things between Gav and Charlotte are about to get a whole lot worse,” an insider claimed. “The US is where she wants to be and the kids are going with her – whether Gav likes it or not. Charlotte really wants to break America, that's her big plan. She's definitely going over there for a few months to test the water. If it works, she might stay out there longer."

Meanwhile, Gavin has admitted he’s struggling to get his life back together since the pair split in May.

“It's been a nightmare and it's still very raw,” the rugby star said. “I just want to get my life in order but with what's going on in my life at the moment it is literally one day at a time. I'm getting there. But it's not really in my control at the moment.

“I don't regret a second of my relationship. Charlotte and I had some great times together but it came to an end. I'm coping OK. I'm trying to be strong about it and we're both trying to be mature about it. All I can do is try to be the best father I can be to my children.”

Charlotte releases her comeback album, Back To Scratch, on November 1.
