Is Charlotte Ready To Quit Geordie Shore?
It's time to talk about those rumours, pet...
Now that both Vicky Pattison and James Tindale have decided to hang up their shot glasses for good (*sob!*), there's been lots of speculation in the press about which Geordie will decide to leave the Shore next.
Could it be Charlotte Crosby?
Well… no. At least, we don't think she's going anywhere anytime soon.
But her former housemate Vicky isn't so sure.
"We've got stuff ticking that the lads don't have," she explained. "The boys in that house - Gary, Scott, Kyle, Aaron - they've got real Peter Pan syndrome and it's fine for them. They can live in Geordie Never Neverland and shag girls for the rest of their life and have no responsibilities or cares or anything because all they do when they come out is do PAs anyway - it's just an extension of the show.
"But for me, who's got ambition and drive, and for some of the girls who have desires to have families or relationships or meaningful things like that, it is difficult. It is hard. And I think you'll see glimmers."
She added: "Every so often Charlotte sort of pulls away - you can tell she sort of wants something else or something different. And I think Sophie, before she left, the novelty had well and truly worn off for her. She wanted a boyfriend and a life. I think it's really hard and really difficult for the girls at times."
Queen V's certain about one thing, though - top shagger Gaz isn't going anywhere.
"Gary's going to be bucking birds on his f**king Zimmer frame, man, isn't he? That's definitely not changing any time soon," she laughed.
"I don't wish any of them would grow up - I'm so pleased they are still enjoying it and loving it. Geordie Shore's a brilliant opportunity and as long as they're still loving it, crack on. For me, I was just becoming that miserable old cow sat in the corner and ruining everyone's buzz. Definitely time to go!"
While we respect Vicky's decision totally, two lovely little words from Charlotte make us feel pretty confident that she's happy having a mint time and getting mortal with MTV.
During a Twitter fan Q&A last year, she told one fan who asked if she'd ever quit the hit show: "Nope never."
See? We've got it in writing and everything.
