Charlotte Crosby Reveals The Truth Behind Her Ectopic Pregnancy And Gaz Beadle: 'We Were The Closest We'd Ever Been'

The Geordie Shore lass says her relationship with Gaz is now over forever...

It's no secret thatthings between Geordie Shore starsCharlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle have quite clearly beenoff recently.

And now in an exclusive interview with this week's Heat magazine, Charlotte has finally revealed why.

In what we can only describe as shocking news, Charlotte has confessed she had an ectopic pregnancy -which ruptured one of her fallopian tubes so badly the doctorsaid she was lucky to be alive - and had to have emergency surgery.

Speaking to Heat for a tell-all interview, Charlotte says: "I just want this weight to be lifted off my shoulders."

It all started when Charlotte was shooting the trailer for Geordie Shore's Big Birthday Battle.

She toldthe mag: ""I thought I had a really bad period because I was bleeding and cramping - I can't describe the pain, it was awful. It was going down my leg to the point that I couldn't walk properly."

Being so busy with work though, Char says she didn't have time to give it much attention. But the bleeding and pain continued and eventually Charlotte was on a shoot and realised she had to go to hospital.

On the 7th April, she ended up in A&E.

"The doctor said it sounded like a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy," she recalls.

"Then my urine sample came back and tested positive for being pregnant.I was in shock, it didn't feel real."

Charlotte adds: "Because I'd left it a week I'd torn open my fallopian tube and I was bleeding internally."

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg buries itself outside of the womb, often in the fallopian tube. The consequences can be life-threatening.

The doctor told Charlotteif she'd left it any longer she could have died.

Prior to all of this, Gary had flown out to Thailand to shoot the new series of'Ex On The Beach'. Charlotte admits things between the pair were great before he left, saying: "We were the closest we'd ever been.

There was one week where he slept at mine nearly every single night. It was after this stay that I took the morning after pill, but my schedule was so busy, I took it towards the end of the 72-hour window."

Knowing Gaz was flying out to Thailand,Charlotte admits that she knew she needed to say something to Gaz if she wanted the pair to finally give things a proper go.

Charlotte says she told the Geordie lad: "I will be so hurt if you get anyone else. If you're going to get with someone, tell me, because I'm not going to wait for you like a mug."

Gaz apparently asked Charlotte if she would wait for him, and she says she replied: "Of course I'll wait for you."

She adds: "It was a really nice moment."

After she ended up in hospital, Charlotte didn't get to speak to Gary until the surgery was over. She says:"I was crying on the phone and he was being so lovely… that's what I don't understand. I was really in love with him."

When he first heard the news, Charlotte says Garywas caring about everything.

"He said: 'I don't care how many fallopian tubes you've got'."

The pair spoke daily and Charlotte says those calls were"my lifeline".

Unfortunately things turned sour when Geordie Shore co-stars Marnie and Sophie came to visit Charlotte in London, and Charlotte heard what Gaz had apparently been getting up to in Thailand.

"I felt sick. It was like I'd been run over by a train, it was awful," she admits.

When Charlotte next spoke to Gaz, she confronted him about everything.

"I just cried and said 'Why have you done that to me?'."

She then told Gary: "I don't think I can ever speak to you again. I've been through this all on my own. You could be here with me now but you're not."

Reflecting on the whole situation, Charlotte says she realised at that point: "This is it now, this isn't forgivable. I could never go near him again.

All the time before I knew we'd come back together somehow, but this time I knew that it was forever."

Some weeks on from the surgery, Charlotte says she's made an amazing recovery physically and is so much happier now. Her new pup Rhubarb is also cheering her up.

Although she's had one fallopian tube removed as well asone side of her ovaries, the doctor has reassured Charlotte she will still be able to have kids in the future.

Today Charlotte has been thanking fans on Facebook for their support and has written that doing the Heat interview for her was all about "closure".

Meanwhile Gaz has so far kept pretty silent about the whole situation on social media. But he didtweet last night saying that he wasn't going to sit back and be quiet anymore.

This devastating newsis about as far away from the fairytale ending as Geordie Shore fans could ever have hoped for Gaz and Charlotte -who have been on/off lovers since the very beginning of Geordie Shore.

Wecan only hope the pair are able to somehowmake peace with everything that's happened between them, and now find a way to move forward - together or apart.

'Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle continues Tuesday nights at 10pm - only on MTV.'
