From Charlotte Crosby To Kendall Jenner: 8 Celebrities Who Hit Out At Cosmetic Surgery Rumours
Not here for reports they'd gone under the knife
One of the downsides of being a celebrity must be that people are constantly analysing their appearance with a giant magnifying glass and a slideshow of how their features used to look in 2011.
While a bunch of reality stars and A-lister’s have come forward to confirm some of their cosmetic procedures, others have been forced to deny the rumours in the wake of seriously obsessive speculation.
Let's get checking out some of the Geordie Shore lasses' most incredible transformations to date...
While the former Geordie Shore lass has admitted to a range of surgical procedures, her rep blasted reports she’d undergone liposuction on her belly after fans noticed that her tum was looking seriously toned. Even pal Marnie Simpson pointed out that she'd have heard about it if the reports were even remotely true.
Nicki explained that her face looks permanently on-point due to her insane make-up skills - not because she’s undergone any kind of facial surgery.
“I’ve never had surgery on my face. They’ll see contour and they’ll think you had surgery on your nose, no no no, look at ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and you’ll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want,” she said in an interview with Extra.
The Bridget Jones actor debuted a very different appearance in 2014 and expertly dodged rumours that she’d gone under the knife to achieve the look. “I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," she said. Oh, we love a vague, polite, and completely non-committal response.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star has admitted that her appearance isn’t 100% natural but insisted that she’s never altered anything on her face. "I will always nip and tuck if I feel the need to do so, but I'm open about it. I don't care. You only go around one time, and I especially understand that. And life is very short, so there's no reason for me to lie."
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star tackled the rumours about bum implants by filming herself having an x-ray during the E! programme. As for speculation about her nose, she told Nightline in 2010 that she’d “always wanted it done” but couldn’t quite bring herself to go through with the procedure.
The actress has been rumoured to have undergone a series of surgeries, but seemed to take personal issue with claims that her lips aren’t entirely natural: “My lips are my lips,” she insisted. P.S. She also spent an incredible amount of time pulling faces on Twitter in response to rumours she’d had botox injections.
Proving that a bit of media training goes a long way, the 30-year-old responded to rumours she’d had a rhinoplasty operation by dancing around the question like a politican in the middle of a personal scandal.
"It's the way you address any rumour. People want to talk," she philosophised. "They want to create negative things about you and your life. You can't let them affect you."
Um, so is it true then?
The supermodel isn’t one to complain on social-media but took to her website to brand claims that she’d “restructured her face” completely exhausting. “As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn't even make sense. It's crazy because sometimes I feel like people just want me to lose," she said.
So that’s that. Move along, folks. Take your surgery rumours elsewhere.
