Tuesday, August 1, 2006 - 07:40
Gnarls Barkley have held on to the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart for a mammoth eighth consecutive week.
GBs Crazy has again held off all-comers this week to make it the longest running number one for over ten years, beating Tony Christies Amarillo which sat at the top for seven weeks.
Next in sight for the Barkley is Queens nine week run back in 1975 with Bohemian Rhapsody, which they will equal if they sit tight again this Sunday.
Quite a way off though is Wet Wet Wets gigantic 15 week run at number one with Love Is All Around in 1994.
In other Gnarls Barkley news, catch them performing on this week's 1 Leicester Square, this Sunday at 8pm on MTV.
