Cher Lloyd Apologises To Cheryl Cole Live On TV

Cher Lloydhas apologised to her 2010 X Factor mentorCheryl Cole live on TV, after[uuid=8c2dd951-8ce4-49c3-8c8b-69a5c6c8f113]Girls Aloud star, suggesting that Cheryl can't sing live, telling Real Radio North West that without the use of Auto-Tune it would be a "challenge" for the 28-year old to perform without it.
When asked if she would ever want to duet with Cole, the 18-year old stated: "Maybe, if she sings live with me... [it's] always [a challenge] nowadays when you haven't got that nifty little button to press."
Cheryl later appeared to hit back at Lloyd on Twitter, writing on her official page: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly."
Lloyd has now said sorry to Chezza on ITV1 breakfast show Daybreak, insisting that she never meant any harm with her comments.
Speaking of her remarks about the Fight For This Love singer, the 18-year old explained: "Basically I said something on radio which I shouldn’t have said and it wasn’t intended to sound as bad as it did.”
When it was suggested that it sounded like she was being negative towards Cheryl, Lloyd was quick to add: “I wasn’t doing that all, I was saying is I would love to perform with her and I made a little joke about only if she sang live.
“I think it all got blown out of proportion. I just want to say sorry to her if she found that offensive. But at the end of the day, she is the person who got me to where I am today.”
The Swagger Jagger hitmaker concluded: [Being young] is not an excuse, I should still be on top of it. I’m in the public eye now, so word vomit is not good!”
