Cher Lloyd: 'I Want To Get Married ASAP'
Cher Lloyd has revealed she can't wait to get married and hinted that she may tie the knot as early as this summer.
The former X Factor contestant is engaged to fiance Craig Monk, who popped the question on her 18th birthday last year.
Speaking to The Mirror after a sold-out gig at London's Indig02, Cher said: "I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible. I can't wait.
The 18-year-old, who recently hit back at suggestions she's[uuid=489a83ce-2ee5-421b-bde2-73261ba7dd64]too young to get hitched[/uuid], went on: "I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him."
She added: "I have [uuid=b3e13d69-2765-4fb0-aebb-c6dd2b7b2493]been through a lot[/uuid] over the past few years and I deserve to have some happiness."
If you're expecting a Big Fat Gypsy Wedding dress you're likely to be disappointed though because Cher insists it will be "a far more traditional affair with a nice, white dress".
"At the moment I am on tour so I can't do it but maybe it will happen in the summer," she told the paper. "Basically, it will be as soon as we can."
There's little chance of Cher taking it easy on the music front, however. The singer has already started work on her second album and told The Sun she is planning to "smash open some doors" Stateside.
