Cheryl Announces Second Solo Single & LP Title

She will release The Flood from her new album, Messy Little Raindrops...

Cheryl Cole may have onlyGirls Aloud star will release the track as the second single from her sophomore LP, thought to be called X Factor magazine revealed: "The single after Promise This will be an enormo-ballad called The Flood, a massive, strong-laden, Christmassy tear-jerker about wreckage, drowning and natural disaster love…"
They added: "Be prepared to shed a tear or three, as Cheryl sadly croons, 'You can't hold onto water'."

hit the web this morning, the magazine also unveiled another shot of the singer from the promo, wearing a red ball gown in what is described as 'a gothic ballet' setting.
Cole has also revealed that her second solo album will carry the tittle Messy Little Raindrops - the follow-up to her triple-platinum debut LP, 3 Words.

Although the track-listing is yet to be revealed, Cheryl is thought to have worked with a hoard of superstar producers on the album including Will.I.Am, JR Rotem, Wayne Wilkins and Starsmith - who claims he 'really enjoyed' working with Chez on the record.
The producer, real name Finlay Dow-Smith who has worked with the likes of Ellie Goulding, Kylie Minogue and Diana Victers told X about the track he wrote for Cheryl stating: “I can’t tell you the name of it, but the song I wrote has a ’90s house feel."
"It’s fun and makes you want to get up and dance on the table. They told me the type of thing they wanted and we did it, because obviously you can’t have an R&B song on a techno album.”

He added: "We really enjoyed making it. We got to the point where it was like, ‘If Cheryl doesn’t like it, it doesn’t matter’, because we were having so much fun with it. But she liked it, and that was really gratifying.”
Cheryl is expected to release her second solo album in November after the lead single Promise This on 24th October. We can't wait!
