Cheryl Cole has reportedly rekindled her relationship with ex-hubby Ashley Cole, despite divorcing the footballer last year.
According to Heat magazine, the Girls Aloud beauty and Ashley's romance is back on, with reports suggesting that the pair spent bank-holiday weekend together.
The publication has even claimed that Chezza is wearing her engagement ring again, signifying that she has decided to give their marriage another go.
A source told the mag: "There is a sort of unspoken understanding between Cheryl and Ashley's mutual friends that a reconciliation is well under way. They have been in constant contact and have met up regularly."
The Promise This singer is even said to have been recently spotted at Cole's mother's house in Essex, with the mole claiming: "Cheryl's visit to Sue's house was a big sign that she and Ashley are moving ever closer to a public reunion."
"Until recently, Cheryl wasn't confident enough about her and Ashley's relationship - but visiting Sue suggests she's ready to embrace his family again."
They continued: "It's like a military operation when they decide to meet up. Ashley leaves his usual car at home and has a driver take him to see Cheryl - usually a different car each time - to throw anyone else off his scent."
Cheryl has previously expressed her feeling for the Chelsea footballer, recently admitting in an interview with Piers Morgan that she "will always love Ashley."
The 27-year old's mum, Joan Callaghan, is allegedly less than impressed with her daughter's decision to take back Ash - who has been accused of being unfaithful to Cheryl on numerous occasions.
Heat reports that Joan is "livid" that Chezza is seeing Ashley again, with the source adding: "She's in despair. She's so protective of Cheryl, and she's terrified of seeing her hurt again."
They explained: "She knows the relationship could jeopardise so much for Cheryl and all that she's worked for."
